How do I use Sea Salt Solutions?
FACE: There are many ways to use the Clarifying Salt Treatment. Add the accessories to your Starter Set (Bowl, Continuous Sprayer & Bath Tub Kit) for different Soaking options especially if you do not have a Bath Tub. The optimal use is as a Soak, but you can also use the Salt as a Natural Exfoliating Cleanser, Toner or even with a Washcloth. Check out the Salt Uses page for a more detailed explanation. And follow the directions on how to use each accessory at the bottom of the product pages. Follow each Clarifying Salt Treatment with the Purifying Cleanser, Perfecting Clay Mask and an Oil-Free Moisturizer.
BODY: If you have body breakouts only and have a bath tub, order the Body Starter System. Soak three times weekly and use the Exfoliating Body Cleanser half way through each soak to maximize the salts' therapeutic benefits. For optimal results, also order the Salt Scrub for use on days when you don't soak. If you do not have a bath tub, order the Salt Scrub and use daily and/or make a paste out of the Clarifying Salt and apply to your back, chest, shoulders, etc. with a body brush or wash cloth. Leave on for about five minutes and rinse.
FACE+BODY: If you have both Face and Body breakouts, order the Face + Body Starter System.
When will I see results?
The amount of time it takes to see results with the Sea Salt Solutions system varies from person to person and depends on breakout severity. Each soak will help clear up your skin. The more you soak, the clearer your skin will become. During the first 6 weeks of use, your skin may actually get worse before it gets better because blemishes developing deep down below the surface of the skin must be brought to the surface and flushed out before pores can stay consistently clear and run clean. The longer and more frequently you soak, the more time the salt has to draw out blemish causing impurities and the quicker you will move through the initial “pore purging” stage. Fully submerging your face for at least five minutes in the bath tub, 3 times weekly, will provide optimal results.
Do all the Clarifying Salt Treatments contain the same salt?
Yes. We broke them up into categories to make learning about the products and choosing which one is right for you, easier.
Why does the water have to be lukewarm while soaking?
Hot water is never good for your skin, whether you're soaking or washing. The optimal and most comfortable temperature for soaking and washing is around 92ºF.
Is there a sea salt cream I can use instead of soaking?
Most of the salts' therapeutic benefits are lost when converted into a cream. The only way to extract the maximum benefit from the salt is to soak in it. The water functions as a conduit, allowing the salt to penetrate deep into pores to draw out impurities. Since breakouts are partly caused by clogged pores, it's better to flush them out than clog them further with harsh creams.
How are clarisea salts different from other sea salts?
Clarisea salts are a combination of two different precious sea salts. They are potent enough to fight breakouts but mild enough for sensitive facial skin. The salts were specially formulated to create a mineral balance that fights bacteria while toning and softening both face and body skin.
Can I use the salt and still use my other skin care products?
Most likely yes, but test a small patch of skin on your face first. If redness or irritation occur, discontinue use of all products.
Is it ok if some salt gets near or in my mouth and/or eyes while I'm soaking?
As long as you have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected your bath tub and/or bowl before soaking, this should not be a problem. If eye irritation occurs flush with warm water. The salt is organic. It's actually edible and also sold for cooking.
How do I prevent water from getting in my ears when I soak my face?
We provide 1 pair of silicone ear plugs each time you purchase the salt. Use these each time you soak your face to prevent swimmer's ear. Do not use them outside of the bathroom. Keep out of reach of children.
Can I use the snorkel provided in the bathtub kit in the ocean?
No. The snorkel we sell is strictly for use in the bath. Do not use it in a swimming pool or any large body of water outside the home.

How long will it take to process my order?

If you purchased products directly from Clarisea, we offer a 60 day money back guarantee (from ship date) on all products except discontinued items, no questions asked as long as you return the unused portion or empty container.
We recommend that you send your return via UPS or insured Parcel Post for your protection and to insure prompt delivery. We're sorry, but return shipping fees are not refundable.
